“You’ll have to choose between the pain of discipline and the pain of regret.”
—Jim Rohn
He’s more of a traditional motivational speaker, someone I listen to quite frequently.
The reason I love this quote is that it not only rings true but also forces you to consider the cost of inaction
Les Brown once said that the cemetery is the wealthiest place on earth because many of us carry our hopes, dreams, and desires to the grave. We may not always act on them or take steps to make them happen.
There’s always a cost in life to your actions, so make worthwhile choices.
Everyone who has accomplished something has had to practice discipline in their lives.
To be disciplined about your schedule and where you spend your time, you must be structured, strategic, and able to prioritize what is important.
Because if you don’t, you’ll incur the agony of regret or the agony of not doing the work.
I hope this inspires you to pursue your deepest desires!
