When I returned to the online business market after a short absence in 2017, I decided that coaching would be the best option.
It didn’t take long for me to recognize that I was on the wrong course yet again.
I’d chosen yet another business that would take me an eternity to set up and create an online presence.
But I was determined. I hired someone to do my advertisements and paid them $2000 per month to manage my campaigns, but it had no effect.
Because I was new, I was still battling.
And no matter how good they are, anyone new will take a lengthy time commitment, money, and effort to get started.
What happened next was perhaps one of the most fortunate coincidences of my life… (There have been a few, but this was a big one!)
I decided to log into my ad management and create the ads myself. I believed the advertisements could do better.
And I was right!
What happened next completely altered the course of my life for the following several years and the rest of my life.
If this hadn’t happened, I’d be working in an office, dealing with politics I didn’t agree with, and appearing to care about things I didn’t care about to provide for my family and pay the bills.
I was head over heels in love with the ad manager. I enjoyed running advertisements, and spending money on advertisements! (It was like shopping but better).
I love the stories, the graphics, and how simple it was for a beginner to get started and succeed.
I knew it was worthwhile to invest in it as a business at the time.
Then, as if the stars had aligned (which I believe they did), clients began to come to me rather than me chasing them.
Then, by chance, over the next few months, I got one client after another (I was amazed I closed anyone).
Around four months later, I resigned from my job. I rapidly recognized that this was far more viable than a coaching business.
I was still coaching, just differently, so I could get coaching clients even though I didn’t have an email list or a following.
I decided to enjoy and appreciate the services people needed from me, and then I found a way to accomplish the things I still love, such as having a unique and complete onboarding process in which I meet with clients four times in the first month.
Since then, I’ve repeatedly invested in working with the smartest people in my business to discover the best tactics for myself and my clients.
This year alone, I’ve spent over $30K (USD!) studying with the best in the industry… not because I have to, but because I want to.
That’s why I launched a Facebook (TM) ad agency and also why I love every minute of it—even the difficult ones.
Hey, also, if you’re curious about any of this, just message me!
